Atom Age Vampire screenings!

Friday, August 28th, 2009

Two screenings are now scheduled in October:

  • Tacoma Film Festival, Tacoma, WA Sunday, October 4 4:30PM Grand Cinema.
  • New York City Friday, October 9 11PM The Peoples Improv Theater.

And because I’m a jet-setting fiend, I’ll be at both screenings, answering your questions (and you will have some, I guarantee it).

If you want to arrange a screening in your town (I don’t have to be present), email me and we’ll figure it out.

Stupid, Stupid Stamps

Three updates a day at my new Tumblr, Stupid, Stupid Stamps. The nerdiest nerd humor ever, pretty much.

Goodbye, Salon.com

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

I’ve been doing animations over at Salon.com for just over two years: weekly during 2007, and then daily during the 2008 elections, then back to weekly as the economy continued to collapse last winter.

Sadly, Salon.com doing a complete site re-org, and original video content is going away, which of course means my animations won’t be at Salon.com anymore.

It’s been a great time over at Salon, and I wish them all well; they’re great folks. Here are a couple of my favorite Salon.com animations from the the early part of my time at Salon.com:

Christina Dunham Eats Haggis:

Author Deb Olin Unferth (Vacation) reads a short story that is also called “Deb Olin Unferth:”

Andrea Rosen auditions for Flight of the Conchords; it goes very badly:
